Landers Punch – Recipe from the ‘Old Waldorf Bar Guide’

One-fourth Jamaica Rum

One-fourth Gordon Gin

One-fourth French Vermuth

One-fourth Lemon Juice

The rum looks a little out of place in this drink, especially if it’s the more pungent fusel oil filled pot still Jamaican variety. And equal parts always seem to be an easy mixing solution versus a thought out tried and tested recipe, and this isn’t really any different. The drink needs something to balance the citrus, and dry vermouth just doesn’t cut it, it really needs some sugar syrup, or honey or something.

That being said its actually a little better than I thought it would be, although not balanced. not sure if this is a recommended at all, seems to be a lot more miss than hit.
